I love London.
Born and raised near the forks of the Thames, right in Ward 13, the places and people of our city’s core live close to my heart. I’m a father, a worker, a tenant, and lifelong student. I believe no challenge is insurmountable; through cooperation, effective strategy, and hard work, even the seemingly impossible can be achieved. But first, we must show up.
So, I show up: to Council, as a strong voice for downtown, for my volunteer life science innovation work, and for my friends in our community. I show up to support and create effective, grounded solutions for London’s most complex problems.
My work is mainly guided by three principles:
Less Talk, More Action.
London needs new and better solutions to its problems built on what already works (like my Basic Housing plan) and these solutions must be implemented quickly. We cannot let excessive planning, stale thinking, or obsolete conventions stop needed progress. We need to move forward with speed, as best we can, immediately.
Compassion Needs Boundaries
Safe communities are built on understanding and compassion, but compassion requires healthy boundaries. We must balance love with duty so we can protect people, support recovery, and help everyone prosper.
Reconciliation and Unification
Reconciliation isn’t a catchphrase. The word speaks to the need for healing and unity in our community. It may begin with our shared obligations to Indigenous people and culture, but it also means healing our relationships with each other, the environment, and ourselves. I focus on building unifying narratives and practical policies that bridge the divided communities of our time.
